At The Selective Companies, our first priority on every project is safety. Our employees are our most valuable asset. All new hires receive four hours of safety orientation in our state of the art training center. All foremen are certified in CPR and First Aid as well as 30-hour OSHA. Our Safety Director conducts the following at all job sites:

• Safety inspections and JHA
• Industry specific tool box talks
• Tool and equipment inspections

Greg Albrecht galbrecht@seldemo.com, our Occupational Safety and Health Director, has 27 years experience in Life Safety. His certifications include: OSHA 500; JLG Telehandler and AWP Trainer; AHA CPR and First Aid Instructor; Hilti and Ramset Instructor; North Fit Tester; and Excavation, Trenching, and Soil Mechanics Safety. He is a certified Asbestos Supervisor and MTS Master Fire Fighter. Under his direction the Selective Companies were just awarded our third consecutive Safety Training and Evaluation Process (STEP) award by the Associated Builders and Contractors.
