Quantico Marine Base Building 2006
Demolition and abatement in and around Building 2006, including: Class I and II asbestos work; interior demolition of masonry and gypsum walls, doors, floor finishes, and ceilings; demolition and disposal of PCB ballasts and mercury-containing fluorescent light tubes; and site asphalt demolition.

Overlook Elementary School
Demolition and removal of the following items: flooring and ceiling finishes; portions of the existing roof, including shoring of bar joists; concrete slab; masonry walls and cut-ins; doors, frames, and associated hardware; and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

Vinson Hall
Class I and II asbestos work in an occupied military retirement facility, including: removal of aluminum clad windows; removal of contaminated corridor ceilings; removal of asbestos-containing surface materials; and architectural demolition with associated asbestos removal in the administration area.

US Department of Agriculture
Our scope includes interior demolition throughout six floors totaling 92,000 sf, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, telecommunications, data, and fire protection systems. Architectural demolition includes: channeling plaster lath walls for installation of new electrical systems; removal of masonry and terra cotta walls, including grinding and scarifying high points; removal of floor finishes and adhesives; and cutting back and “keying” existing plaster to expose 2 inches of metal lath to receive new plaster. Structural demolition includes: removal of concrete topping slabs, in-fills, concrete roof decking, chimneys and flues; trenching for new electrical and telephone systems; cutting openings in structural terra cotta floors; and cutting concrete encasements and beam pockets for new steel. On the hazardous materials side, we are performing: substantial Class I and II asbestos abatement; PCB ballast and mercury-containing light tube removal; lead paint abatement; preparation of surfaces to receive new paint using chemical strippers and mechanical methods; and removal of PCB contaminated concrete from electrical vaults.
