Selective Demolition was founded in 1999 by Dan Plante and Karl Celtnieks, who had already achieved success as the founders and principals of Capitol Drywall Inc. Since so much of the tenant drywall work they were performing followed demolition and strip-outs, it made sense economically and logistically to bundle the two disciplines.
From the outset, Dan and Karl insisted on the same level of quality and service to the client that had brought so much success to Capitol Drywall Inc. With Miguel Suarez, now Vice President, running the field operations, Selective Demolition's reputation was cemented. Demand for our services grew, and we answered.
Steve Shane, now President, joined the company in 2003, and with his day-to-day guidance we have achieved exponential growth. Selective Demolition LLC has become the first resource for demolition and debris hauling services for many of the Metro area's largest and best commercial general contractors.
